What’s the difference between townhomes and apartments at The Citizen?

Our townhomes are two levels, with living spaces on the first floor and bedrooms on the second. Each includes 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, private street-level entry, and modern concrete finishes with floor-to-ceiling windows.

Our apartments are single-level and come in studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom layouts. Most feature a private balcony with stunning city or courtyard views.

Is parking available?

Yes. We offer three levels of secure garage parking inside the building, as well as street parking along 500 South and 400 East.

What amenities do you provide?

Residents enjoy a wide variety of amenities, including:

Absolutely! We welcome pets and offer an onsite dog park plus dog washing stations for your convenience.

Do you offer short-term leases?

Yes. We offer flexible lease terms ranging from 6 months up to 18 months, so you can choose what works best for your lifestyle.

What is the community and neighborhood like?

Our community is centrally located in downtown Salt Lake City, offering easy access to everyday conveniences and local favorites. Nearby grocery options include Smith’s, Trader Joe’s, and Whole Foods, and you’ll find a wide variety of popular restaurants just minutes away. How do I schedule a tour?

To schedule a tour, please contact our office and a member of our team will be happy to assist you.

What documents or information do I need to apply?

Applicants are required to upload a valid government-issued photo ID and their three most recent pay stubs as part of the application.

Is renters’ insurance required?

Yes, renters’ insurance is required prior to move-in. Residents may provide proof of their own policy or opt to enroll in the renters’ insurance program we offer for added convenience.

How are packages delivered and where can I pick them up?

Packages are delivered to our secure package room, which includes Amazon lockers for convenient pickup.

How do I submit a maintenance request?

Maintenance requests can be easily submitted through the Resident Portal app at any time.

What happens when I decide to move out?

If you choose to terminate your lease early, the policy requires a 60-day notice along with an early termination fee equal to two times the base rent.
